The Role

As our QA Engineer, you'll be the guardian of quality at WorkZen. You'll work closely with our engineering team to catch bugs before they reach production, design robust test strategies, and ensure every feature we ship meets our high standards.

This role requires both manual testing expertise and automation skills. You'll balance exploratory testing with building automated test suites that scale with our growing product.

What You'll Do

  • Test everything: From new features to critical bug fixes, you'll ensure quality across the board
  • Build automation: Create and maintain automated tests that catch regressions early
  • Think like a user: Anticipate edge cases and user scenarios that might break the experience
  • Document thoroughly: Write clear bug reports that help developers fix issues fast
  • Improve processes: Identify bottlenecks in our QA workflow and propose solutions
  • Stay curious: Keep up with the latest testing tools and methodologies

Who You Are

  • You have a meticulous eye for detail
  • You're proactive: you find issues before users do
  • You're collaborative: QA is a team sport
  • You're adaptable: comfortable with both manual and automated testing
  • You have a zen approach to bugs: they're opportunities to improve, not failures
  • You're passionate about quality and user experience

Why WorkZen?

Join a team that values quality as much as speed. At WorkZen, we:

  • Ship with confidence: Thanks to thorough testing and quality processes
  • Support growth: We invest in your professional development
  • Value balance: No crunch culture here, quality takes time
  • Celebrate wins: Every bug caught is a win worth celebrating
