Understand the Jobs Report
Go to Reports > Jobs Report, pick a date range, and click Run Report. You get jobs created, completed and cancelled in that period, the average days from creation to completion, a trend chart, and breakdowns by status and by job type.
Being busy is not the same as finishing. This report counts what you opened, what you closed and what you dropped, and tells you how long the work in between actually takes.
Run the report
Go to Reports > Jobs Report. Pick a date range, choose a Group By, and click Run Report.
What the numbers mean
Four summary cards top the report:

| Jobs Created | Jobs created in the range, with growth versus the previous period |
| Jobs Completed | Jobs whose completion date falls in the range |
| Jobs Cancelled | Jobs whose cancellation date falls in the range |
| Avg. Days to Complete | The average number of days from creation to completion, over the jobs completed in the range |
Each card uses its own date. A job created in March and completed in April counts as created in March and completed in April. When nothing was completed in the range, the average shows n/a rather than zero.
The three tabs
- Overview: Jobs Over Time (created, completed and cancelled side by side), Jobs by Status, and Top Job Types.
- Details: the Job Details table with Created, Job #, Title, Client, Job Type, Status, Priority, Completed, and Days to Complete per job. Days to Complete shows n/a until the job is completed.
- Breakdown: the Status Breakdown and the Job Type Breakdown, each with a count and its share of the jobs created in the range.
Reading it with the other reports
A rising Jobs Created number with a flat Jobs Completed number means work is piling up. Pair this report with the Lead Conversion Report to see whether the pile comes from more leads converting or from jobs taking longer to finish.
Who can see it
Users need the financial reports permission, which covers the whole Reports area. The Jobs Report is part of the advanced report set, available on ZenGrow and higher plans. See roles and permissions.
