ServiceTitan Pricing 2026: What It Really Costs

ServiceTitan Pricing 2026: What It Really Costs

ServiceTitan's pricing page is short: three plans, a list of features, and a "Request Pricing" button under each one. There is no number anywhere. That is normal for enterprise software, and ServiceTitan is genuinely built for larger operations, but it means the most common question about it, "how much does it cost?", has no official answer.

So we pieced one together. This guide covers what ServiceTitan's plans include as of September 2026, what users and independent reviewers report paying, the costs that sit outside the per-tech price, and realistic totals for 3, 10 and 25 technicians. All prices are in US dollars (USD). Because ServiceTitan does not publish prices, every figure below is a user-reported range with its source, not a quote. Your rep's number is the only one that counts.

To be clear up front: ServiceTitan is a powerful platform, and plenty of large HVAC and plumbing shops run their whole operation on it. This is not a hit piece. It is the math.

How Much Does ServiceTitan Cost in 2026?

ServiceTitan does not publish prices. User-reported figures compiled by third-party reviewers in 2026 put it at roughly $245 to $500 per technician per month, depending on the plan, plus a one-time implementation fee reported at $5,000 to $50,000, Pro add-ons on top, and a minimum 12-month contract.

For a 5-technician shop, that works out to about $1,225 to $2,500 a month in subscription alone. Add an add-on or two and a share of the onboarding fee, and small crews commonly land at $2,000 or more per month, which is consistent with what we found in our Housecall Pro vs ServiceTitan comparison for small crews.

ServiceTitan Plans at a Glance (September 2026)

ServiceTitan sells three core plans. The features come from servicetitan.com/pricing; the price column is user-reported.

PlanWhat ServiceTitan listsReported price per tech per month
StarterDispatching, scheduling, call booking, invoicing, pricebook~$245 to $300
EssentialsStarter, plus mobile estimates and payroll management~$300 to $400
The WorksEssentials, plus configurable payroll, advanced reporting, commission tracking, customizable memberships~$400 to $500

Features from servicetitan.com/pricing, checked September 2026. Prices are user-reported ranges compiled by Projul (February 2026, from G2, Capterra, Reddit and BBB reports) and FieldCamp (2026), not official figures. All USD.

The plan names tell you who ServiceTitan is built for: memberships, commissions, configurable payroll and advanced reporting matter most to shops with a sales process, a call center and a service agreement program.

How ServiceTitan's Per-Technician Pricing Works

ServiceTitan's own words: "Our per-technician pricing is designed to fit your business and goals, at any size." In practice:

  • You pay per field technician, per month. Grow from 5 techs to 8 and your bill grows with you.
  • The plan sets the per-tech rate. Moving from Starter to The Works can nearly double the price per tech, based on the reported ranges above.
  • Office seats, apprentices and seasonal techs are a negotiation point. How they are counted is not published, so ask your rep to spell it out in writing.
  • Everything is quoted. Two shops of the same size can pay different amounts depending on what they negotiated and when.

The practical takeaway: before a demo, know exactly how many techs, office users and seasonal workers you have in your busiest month. That is the number the quote will scale with.

The Costs People Miss

1. Onboarding and implementation

This is the line that surprises people most. User reports compiled by Projul (February 2026) put implementation at $5,000 to $50,000 depending on company size, with timelines of 2 to 12 months. FieldCamp's 2026 review reports 6 to 12 month implementations for many teams, with some users saying they never fully finished onboarding.

It is a one-time cost, but it hits in year 1, before the software has paid for anything.

2. Pro add-ons

ServiceTitan's pricing page lists these "Pro" products separately from the core plans (September 2026):

  • AI Virtual Agent
  • Marketing Pro
  • Contact Center Pro
  • Pricebook Pro
  • Fleet Pro
  • Scheduling Pro
  • Dispatch Pro
  • Field Pro (formerly Sales Pro)

None has a published price. Reported figures vary a lot by source and package: Marketing Pro alone is reported at $500 to $1,000 a month by FieldCamp and at $2,000 or more a month by Projul. Treat any add-on as its own line in the quote, and ask for the price with and without it.

3. The annual contract

ServiceTitan requires a minimum 12-month contract, with early cancellation penalties, according to Projul and FieldCamp (2026). That is a real difference from Housecall Pro and Jobber, which run month to month. If the platform does not fit after three months, you are still paying for nine more.

Ask about renewal terms too. Your year-2 price is part of the deal you are signing in year 1.

4. Payment processing

ServiceTitan offers integrated payments and financing, but processing rates are not published on its pricing page. On any real volume, processing can cost more than the software, so get the card and ACH rates in writing before you compare totals.

5. Training time

The cost nobody invoices: the hours your techs and office spend learning the system instead of working. ServiceTitan is deep, and FieldCamp's 2026 review lists a steep learning curve and underused features among the most common complaints. Budget real time for training, and a person who owns the rollout.

Realistic Monthly Totals by Crew Size

Putting the user-reported ranges together. These are estimates for budgeting a conversation with sales, not quotes.

CrewMonthly subscription (reported range)Year-1 subscriptionPlus one-time onboarding (reported)
3 techs~$735 to $1,500~$8,820 to $18,000$5,000 to $50,000 reported overall
5 techs~$1,225 to $2,500~$14,700 to $30,000Same range
10 techs~$2,450 to $5,000~$29,400 to $60,000Same range
25 techs~$6,125 to $12,500~$73,500 to $150,000Higher end more likely

USD. Subscription = reported $245 to $500 per tech per month (Projul, FieldCamp, 2026) times techs. Excludes Pro add-ons, payment processing and training time.

For a sense check, FieldCamp estimates a 10-technician company spends $50,000 to $70,000 in year 1 all-in, which lines up with the 10-tech row once you add onboarding and an add-on. Year 2 drops the onboarding line, which is why many owners judge ServiceTitan on its second year, not its first.

Is ServiceTitan Worth It?

For established HVAC, plumbing and electrical shops with roughly 10+ technicians: it can be. If you run a call center, sell memberships, live in your pricebook and have someone to own the system, ServiceTitan's depth is the point, and the per-tech cost spreads across a lot of revenue.

For crews of 3 to 10: it depends on whether you will use the depth. A 5-tech shop paying $2,000+ a month plus onboarding needs that software to lift average ticket or close rate enough to cover it. Some do. Many small shops report paying for features they never switch on.

For solo operators and crews under 3: almost never. The onboarding fee alone can exceed a year of simpler software, and the annual contract removes your exit.

ServiceTitan Pricing for Small Businesses

The honest problem for small businesses is not the per-tech price, it is the fixed costs around it. Onboarding, the annual contract and the time to learn a deep platform weigh the same whether you have 3 techs or 30, but a 3-tech shop has a tenth of the revenue to absorb them.

If you are under 5 techs and considering ServiceTitan, ask yourself two questions:

  1. Which ServiceTitan feature will make us more money, and how much? If you cannot name it, the math probably does not work yet.
  2. What would we lose by starting with something simpler and moving up later? Switching costs are real, but so are 12 months of fees for features you do not use.

Our ServiceTitan alternatives roundup covers the platforms small crews most often move to instead.

10 Questions to Ask the ServiceTitan Sales Rep

Because nothing is published, the quality of your quote depends on the quality of your questions. Get the answers in writing:

  1. What is the price per technician per month on each plan, for our exact headcount?
  2. Who counts as a technician? Are office users, apprentices and seasonal techs billed?
  3. What is the one-time implementation fee, and what exactly does it include (data migration, pricebook setup, training, integrations)?
  4. How long does implementation usually take for a company our size?
  5. What is the contract length, and what happens if we cancel early?
  6. What will our price be at renewal, and is there a cap on increases?
  7. Which features we saw in the demo are Pro add-ons, and what does each cost?
  8. What are the card, ACH and financing processing rates?
  9. Can we add and remove technicians mid-contract, and how is that billed?
  10. What support is included, and what costs extra?

ServiceTitan vs Housecall Pro vs Jobber vs WorkZen on Price

Housecall Pro from our Housecall Pro pricing guide (September 2026), Jobber from our Jobber pricing breakdown (September 2026), WorkZen from workzen.io/pricing (September 2026; ZenGrow is CA$79/mo and ZenAI CA$199/mo billed annually for Canadian businesses). ServiceTitan from user reports compiled by Projul and FieldCamp (2026).

What jumps out: at 5 technicians, ServiceTitan's reported subscription alone ($1,225 to $2,500 a month) is roughly 8 to 17 times the Housecall Pro Essentials, Jobber Connect or WorkZen ZenAI price, before onboarding. That gap is the price of ServiceTitan's depth. Whether it is worth paying depends on whether you will use it.

In fairness: ServiceTitan does things WorkZen does not, like a full call center suite, deep membership management and marketing attribution at enterprise scale. WorkZen is the newer and simpler product. What WorkZen offers that ServiceTitan structurally does not is published pricing, a free plan to start and no onboarding fee. For the full feature comparison, see WorkZen vs ServiceTitan.

The Bottom Line

ServiceTitan's pricing is not hidden so much as custom. As of 2026, user reports put it at roughly $245 to $500 per technician per month, plus $5,000 to $50,000 in onboarding, Pro add-ons and a 12-month contract. For a large shop that lives in its pricebook and call center, that can be money well spent. For a crew under 5, the fixed costs usually outweigh the features.

Frequently Asked Questions

ServiceTitan does not publish prices. User-reported figures compiled by third-party reviewers in 2026 put it at roughly $245 to $500 per technician per month depending on the plan (Starter, Essentials or The Works), plus a one-time implementation fee reported at $5,000 to $50,000 and Pro add-ons on top. A 5-technician shop is typically looking at about $1,225 to $2,500 a month in subscription alone.
No. As of September 2026, ServiceTitan's pricing page lists no free plan or free trial. Every plan says 'Request Pricing' and the path to buying is a sales demo. If you want to try software before committing, WorkZen has a free-forever plan for up to 3 users, and Housecall Pro and Jobber both offer 14-day trials.
ServiceTitan says its 'per-technician pricing is designed to fit your business and goals, at any size', which in practice means every quote is built by a sales rep based on your team size, plan and add-ons. That lets it price for large operations, but it also makes it hard for small crews to compare. Get a written quote with every fee listed before you sign.
Implementation is a separate one-time fee. Third-party reviews compiled from user reports in 2026 put it anywhere from about $5,000 for small companies to $50,000 or more for large, complex rollouts, with timelines reported between 2 and 12 months. Ask what is included: data migration, pricebook setup, training and integrations.
For most crews under about 5 technicians, no. ServiceTitan's strengths (deep pricebook, memberships, marketing attribution, call center tools) pay off at scale, while its per-tech pricing, onboarding fee and annual contract weigh heavily on small shops. Housecall Pro publishes its prices ($59 to $299 a month billed annually for 1 to 8 users, September 2026) and has no long-term contract.
No. This page is about the cost of the software. ServiceTitan the company trades on the Nasdaq under the ticker TTAN, and its share price is a separate topic for investors.
