How to add the lead widget to your website
Go to Settings > Integrations > Website Widgets, configure the floating button (contact form, appointment booking, WhatsApp), copy the generated code snippet, and paste it before the closing body tag on your website. Submissions arrive in WorkZen as leads and booking requests instantly.
Your website already gets visitors. The floating button turns them into leads: one bubble in the corner of every page offering a contact form, real appointment booking against your actual availability, and a WhatsApp line, all feeding straight into WorkZen.
Configure the widget
Go to Settings > Integrations > Website Widgets and open the Floating Button tab. Turn on any combination of:
- Contact Form: visitors send you a message; it lands as a lead.
- Scheduler: visitors book an appointment; it lands as a booking request.
- WhatsApp: a chat button that opens WhatsApp to your number (set the number with country code).
Each option's button text is editable, so "Schedule Appointment" can be "Book My Estimate".
Booking rules
The scheduler books against rules you control:
| Setting | Options |
|---|---|
| Booking Availability | Your work hours only, or 24/7 |
| Time Slot Interval | Every 15 or 30 minutes, hourly, or every 2 hours |
| Show Service Selection | Let visitors pick a service type before choosing a time |
| Ask for address | Collect the visit address during booking |
| Show Time as Range | Offer an arrival window (2:00 to 4:00 PM) instead of an exact time, with a 1 to 4 hour window length |
Click Save Widget Settings and changes publish to your live widget immediately.
Install it
Copy the snippet from the Generated Code box and paste it right before the closing </body> tag on your site. In site builders (Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Shopify), paste it into the "custom code" or "footer code" setting. That is the entire install.
The Live Preview on the settings page shows exactly what visitors will see before you touch your site.
Lock it to your domains
The widget authenticates with a public Widget Key. Out of the box it loads on any domain, and the settings page warns you about that. Add your site under Allowed Domains and the widget refuses to load anywhere else. If the key ever ends up somewhere it shouldn't, Regenerate issues a new one (update your snippet after).
Make it yours
Widget customization requires ZenGrow or higher: your brand's theme color, a choice of button icons, bottom-left or bottom-right position, and removing the "Powered by WorkZen" branding. On the free plan the widget runs with WorkZen's default look.
Where submissions land
- Contact form submissions appear in Leads, ready to claim.
- Booking requests appear on your Dashboard; accepting one creates the visit on your calendar.
